The Kyrgyz Trade House will open in Urumqi (China)

On May 25, 2023, a Business Meeting of the KR delegation with entrepreneurs of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region (China) was held in Urumqi, led by the Deputy Prime Minister of the KR B.E. Torobaev. The event was initiated by the National Investment Agency under the President of the KR in collaboration with the Business Consulting Company 'Huahai International', with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the KR and the Embassy of the KR in China. In his welcoming speech, B. Torobaev noted that in recent years, relations between the KR and China have significantly strengthened in the business sector. 'I am confident that our meeting today will contribute to further strengthening cooperation, and our relations will become more solid and practical,' he noted. The Deputy Director of the Investment Agency N.M. Bayasov provided brief information on investment opportunities. According to him, in the last decade, the investment potential of our region has increased several times, and today China accounts for over 26.3% of the inflow of FDI or a total of 275 million USD.
