TAJ-TECH 2026 is taking place in Dushanbe. Within the framework of the event, a startup forum for member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and a panel session titled 'Digital Cooperation: New Opportunities for Investment and Technological Partnership' were held.
Representing Kyrgyzstan, Meirimbek Koichumanov, Deputy Head of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, participated in the events. He shared information about the conditions being created for the development of technological entrepreneurship, venture funding, digital integration of investors, and areas of cooperation with SCO member states.
Meirimbek Koichumanov noted that in 2026, a law on 'Venture Funding' will be adopted in Kyrgyzstan, establishing a legal basis for attracting investment to startups. The law includes modern financial instruments such as agreements on future equity in the company and convertible loans.
Priority areas for digital cooperation were identified as energy, water resource management, and logistics. The use of solutions such as intelligent resource accounting, load forecasting, and digital management of freight transport in these sectors will help reduce resource wastage and costs, increase the efficiency of their use, and shorten delivery times.
Additionally, the 'Investments' automated information system is being prepared for industrial use and is being updated with relevant information. The system consolidates information about investment projects, relevant documents, and agreement stages in one place, facilitating systematic support for projects and improving interaction with government agencies.
The National Investment Agency is ready to continue exchanging experiences with SCO member states and assist in implementing new investment and technological projects.
