A meeting was held at the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic between Deputy Director Damirbek Bikulov and the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of France to the Kyrgyz Republic Nicolas Fay. During the meeting, current issues of Kyrgyz-French investment cooperation, prospects for expanding economic ties, and attracting French businesses to key sectors of the Kyrgyz economy were discussed. Special attention was paid to the implementation of joint projects in the fields of renewable energy, hydropower, infrastructure, agriculture, and tourism. It was noted that a number of French companies, such as EDF, Alstom, GE Hydro France, TotalEnergies, and Voltalia, are already actively working in Kyrgyzstan, and there is potential for expanding their participation. Ambassador Nicolas Fay emphasized the importance of further strengthening economic relations between the two countries and expressed the French side's interest in developing new investment projects.
