On July 5, 2021, Minister Alambet Shykmamatov held a meeting with a business delegation headed by the Mayor of Hatay Mr. L. Savaş.
The purpose of the meeting was to familiarize with the investment opportunities of the Kyrgyz Republic and to discuss the possibility of establishing joint ventures in the fields of energy, agriculture, and industry, particularly in the textile sector.
The Turkish side also expressed interest in entering the EAEU markets with over 180 million consumers and in creating industrial zones on the territory of Kyrgyzstan.
The meeting was held in an open and constructive dialogue format, resulting in an agreement on bilateral cooperation and the implementation of investment projects presented by Minister of Investments Shykmamatov A.N.
At the same time, Mayor of Hatay L. Savaş expressed hope that this meeting would serve as the beginning of joint bilateral cooperation and invited Minister of Investments Shykmamatov A.N. to participate in EXPO 2021 in Hatay in December.
