On June 26, 2021, a meeting took place between the Minister of Investments of the Kyrgyz Republic Shykmatov A.N. and the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation. The main topics of conversation included the holding of the First Interregional Forum, the updating of the Investment Agreement between the two countries, increasing trade turnover to 1 billion US dollars, the opening of an IFCA branch in Bishkek, etc.
As a result of the meeting, the parties decided to hold regular meetings and mutual consultations.
