On September 7, 2021, a meeting took place at the Ministry of Investments of the Kyrgyz Republic between Minister of Investments A.N. Shykmatov and a delegation from 'Korea Telecom', led by Senior Vice President Sunguk Moon. The company's capitalization is $21 billion.
The parties discussed the prospects for further cooperation on the implementation of investment projects by 'Korea Telecom' in the Kyrgyz Republic in the fields of telecommunications, tourism, and medicine.
In turn, Minister of Investments A.N. Shykmatov proposed that representatives of the Korean company implement projects for the construction of an international-class golf club south of Bishkek, as well as the construction of an international-class medical clinic. It was noted that these investment projects are in demand in the local market and can ensure profitability.
After the meeting, a joint visit took place with Minister of Investments A.N. Shykmatov and the delegation of 'Korea Telecom' to the land plots.
