A forum dedicated to the development of trade, economy, and investment between Sichuan Province and the Kyrgyz Republic was held in Chengdu.
More than 100 representatives from investment and tourism companies, as well as business circles of Sichuan Province participated in the forum.
In his welcoming speech, the Secretary of State of the Kyrgyz Republic, S.S. Kasmambetov, informed the participants about the achievements in economic development, promising directions for Kyrgyz-Chinese trade, economic, and investment cooperation, as well as the measures being taken by the head of the republic to further improve the investment climate in the country.
“I am pleased to announce that Kyrgyz-Chinese relations have reached a new qualitative and substantive level today. The signing of the Joint Declaration of Kyrgyzstan and China on establishing a comprehensive strategic partnership in a new era by the heads of our states is evidence of this,” he emphasized.
