On December 13, 2021, the business forum "Kyrgyzstan – United Arab Emirates" began at the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic A.K. Aaliev, Acting Minister of Investments of the Kyrgyz Republic N.M. Bayasov, and Vice President for International Relations of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce Mr. Hassan Al Hashimi.
During the event, in his welcoming speech, Acting Minister of Investments of the Kyrgyz Republic N.M. Bayasov introduced the business community of the United Arab Emirates to the investment and export opportunities of the Kyrgyz Republic.
More than 100 participants are taking part in this business forum, including heads of government agencies, business delegations from the United Arab Emirates, and domestic entrepreneurs. In turn, 41 domestic companies in the food, light industry, IT, energy, and pharmaceutical sectors represent the Kyrgyz delegation. From the Emirati side, 37 enterprises representing distribution and investment companies from the agro-industrial and IT sectors are participating.
The organizers of the business forum "Kyrgyzstan – United Arab Emirates" are the Ministry of Investments of the Kyrgyz Republic (Agency for Investments and Development of the Kyrgyz Republic) and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, with the assistance of the Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Dubai and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, and the UNDP project "Trade Facilitation," funded by the Government.
