Resolution of the National Forum "Kyrgyzstan's Transition to Sustainable Energy: Barriers and Solutions" Adopted

On February 10, this year, and October 19, this year, the National Forum "Kyrgyzstan's Transition to Sustainable Energy: Barriers and Solutions" was held in Bishkek. The event included sessions and discussions involving government agencies, international organizations, businesses, and experts. As a result of the forum, a Resolution was adopted, which includes proposals and specific recommendations for further work on transitioning to a "green economy" and creating the necessary conditions for the development and wider use of renewable energy technologies in the Kyrgyz Republic. The concluding part of the forum was the first meeting of the working group on renewable energy, chaired by the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, A.K. Aaliyev, which will work on improving the legislative framework and simplifying tariffs.
