"We attach great importance to supporting regional initiatives, launching interstate projects, and creating favorable conditions for business and investments on the ground," noted the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov today, July 8, while speaking at the investment and economic forum of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan at the 'Palace of Independence' in Dushanbe.
About 500 business representatives from Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan are participating in the forum. The forum began its work on July 7 with a practical part, including business visits, where entrepreneurs visited enterprises and met potential partners in tourism, manufacturing, wholesale, and retail trade.
On the second day of the forum, participants were presented with videos about the investment opportunities of the two countries, and panel sessions were held: "Success Stories and Challenges: A Look at the Private Sector of Both Countries", "Investing in the Future of Regions", "New Vectors of Trade and Economic Cooperation".
Also, on the sidelines of the forum, agreements were signed.
