The Ministry of Investments of the Kyrgyz Republic, with the support of the OSCE Program Office in Bishkek, conducted a visit to the Issyk-Kul region from September 27 to October 4, 2021, to familiarize with enterprises and for further preparation of investment passports for enterprises.

A representative of the Ministry of Investments, together with a consultant, visited 14 leading enterprises in the region, such as the Dordoy-Balykchi meat processing plant, the Ala-Balyk trout farm, the slaughterhouses of Tosh-Tuk-Karakol and Reyna-Kench, the Aiko-Seiko sewing enterprise, the Kairma-Aryk ski base, the fish farming farm in the village of Lipenka, and others.

Start-up projects need to attract investments for full project implementation. Existing enterprises need to attract investments to reach full capacity or expansion. The main goals of the visited enterprises are to explore new directions and produce additional products.

As part of the project for the Issyk-Kul region, the preparation of 8 investment passports is planned.
