The Ministry of Investments of the Kyrgyz Republic, with the support of the OSCE Program Office in Bishkek, conducted a trip to the Batken region from August 23 to 28, 2021, to familiarize with the leading enterprises of the region and further prepare investment passports (brief business plans).

During the trip, a meeting was held with the Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Batken region, J. Isakov, and 12 leading enterprises of the region were inspected, such as Alysh-Dan, Mol-Tushum, Agroplast, Global-Garment, Daneko, and others.

To ensure full operation, enterprises need to attract foreign investments to replenish working capital, acquire equipment, complete ongoing construction works, repay loans, and more.

As part of this project, it is planned to prepare 8-9 investment passports for enterprises in the Batken region. A total of 50 investment passports are planned to be prepared across the country.

As a result, a package of investment passports will be formed in the Kyrgyz Republic.
