The Director of the National Agency, U.T. Temiraliyev, visited the construction site of the solar power plant "Kun Bulagy" with a total capacity of 50 MW. The project is being implemented in the Toru-Aygyryk rural area of the Issyk-Kul district in the Issyk-Kul region. The total investment in the project amounts to over 35 million USD.

The project is being implemented by the company OsOO "Kun-Bulagy" in collaboration with the Kazakh company "TGS-Energy Limited", which has been an investor in several renewable energy projects in the Republic of Kazakhstan (construction of the "Kengir" HPP, "Balhash" HPP, "Kapchagay" HPP, etc.). This project is one of the first in the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of renewable energy sources. It is worth noting that the implementation of the project will contribute to an increase in electricity production in the country and partially cover domestic demand.

Previously, the company won a tender for the acquisition of a land plot with a total area of 80 hectares in the Toru-Aygyryk rural area. To date, the investor has developed the feasibility study of the project.
