At the opening of the event, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Usenbekovich Japarov delivered a welcoming speech, emphasizing the importance of implementing green and clean energy in the Kyrgyz Republic.
The forum also featured honored guests, including the UN Resident Coordinator in the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Ozzonia Ojiello and the Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Development Bank Amangeldy Isenov.
With separate reports on the role of renewable energy development in the national climate commitments of the Kyrgyz Republic and the current state of the renewable energy sector, the Minister of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic D.A. Kutmanova and the Deputy Minister of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic T.A. Anarkulov also spoke.
The event is organized by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Agency for Investments and Development of the Kyrgyz Republic, with the assistance of the Office of the UN Resident Coordinator.
