The National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and representatives of the World Bank held a meeting to discuss the prospects for developing export activities through e-commerce channels.
The Deputy Director of the National Investment Agency, Zhalyn Zheanaliev, spoke about the agency's activities, particularly the work being done to develop and promote exports.
The World Bank mission, led by the Director of the E-Commerce Program in Central Asia, Chiu Niu, expressed readiness for cooperation and joint projects aimed at developing export activities and strengthening business ties between Kyrgyzstan and other countries.
Particular attention was paid to issues related to organizing the export of agricultural products through e-commerce channels. The parties discussed possible steps for registering exporters and entrepreneurs from the Kyrgyz Republic on electronic platforms in China, Uzbekistan, and other countries.
