A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Qatar Investment Promotion Agency.
Yesterday, on November 26, 2023, during the visit of the Deputy Director of the NAIC KR – Zhibek Abdullaeva, a meeting was held with the Executive Director of the QIPA, Mr. Ali Al-Walid Al-Thani.
The Deputy Director noted the conditions created in the Kyrgyz Republic for potential investors and informed the Executive Director about the bilateral Kyrgyz-Qatari cooperation.
The Deputy Director of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Zhibek Abdullaeva, also proposed the initiative to hold a Kyrgyz-Qatari business forum.
The Executive Director of the QIPA expressed great interest from Qatari businessmen ready to cooperate with Kyrgyz businessmen and expressed intentions to assist in holding the Kyrgyz-Qatari business forum.
