Today, August 19, 2023, in Urumqi, within the framework of the EXPO "China-Eurasia", the National Agency organized a business forum on trade and economic cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China.
The event was attended by more than 200 entrepreneurs from the business communities of Kyrgyzstan and China, where issues of developing bilateral economic relations were discussed.
The business forum featured speeches from the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic – Head of the Administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic A.U. Zhapаров and the Secretary of the Party Committee, member of the Politburo of the XUAR Mr. Ma Xingzhu.
Presentations were also made by the ministers of economy, energy, the director of the National Agency for Investments, and a representative of the Ministry of Agriculture.
In his welcoming speech, the director of the National Agency for Investments under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic U.T. Temiraliyev noted that Kyrgyzstan invites Chinese investors into its economy to expand economic cooperation in the field.
