The Center for Public-Private Partnership under the National Investment Agency of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic is holding an International PPP Conference in the Kyrgyz Republic.
The conference was attended by government bodies, international institutions, large international private companies, representatives of PPP agencies from the UK, China, Turkey, the Republic of Korea, and Central Asian countries, as well as international experts.
The Kyrgyz Republic, along with other Central Asian countries, is rapidly moving towards the development of public-private partnership mechanisms. As a result of the reforms carried out in the PPP sector, strengthening the institutional framework, enhancing the capacity of experts, and updating the legal framework, the Central Asian region has launched numerous projects and signed a number of PPP agreements in the countries over the past two years.
In 2022, the Government adopted the National Development Program of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2022-2026, where PPP is given a special role.
