Today, the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, in collaboration with the International Trade Center (ITC), held the first meeting of the inter-agency working group on the WTO Agreement on Investment Facilitation for Development (IFD).
The meeting took place as part of the implementation of the project "Ready4Trade Central Asia: Promoting Prosperity through the Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor," funded by the European Union.
During the meeting, organizational issues were discussed, the format for further work was agreed upon, and an assessment of current needs was initiated, which will serve as the basis for a future technical assistance program.
The initiative aims to strengthen the investment climate in Kyrgyzstan and enhance its position as a reliable partner on the international stage.
