Kyrgyzstan strengthens cooperation with leading American corporations: promising investment initiatives discussed
As part of a working visit to the United States by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers — Head of the Administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Adylbek Kasymaliev, a series of bilateral meetings were held with leaders of leading American companies. The National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic also participated in the negotiations.
Discussions focused on key areas of economic interaction, including aviation, digitalization, infrastructure, energy, and the extraction of critically important mineral resources.
Boeing, a global leader in the aerospace industry, expressed interest in participating in projects to modernize Kyrgyzstan's aviation infrastructure. The parties considered the prospects for developing transit routes and updating the aviation fleet, which will enhance the country's logistical connectivity at the international level.
IBM, one of the largest global IT solution developers, proposed practical steps for implementing modern digital technologies in the system of public administration in Kyrgyzstan. Issues of automating administrative processes, increasing the efficiency of government agencies, as well as implementing comprehensive solutions in the field of cybersecurity and personal data protection were discussed.
