The National Investment Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Investments of Saudi Arabia signed a memorandum on promoting direct investments.
On May 29, 2024, in Riyadh, during a meeting between the Deputy Director of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Zhibek Abdullaeva, and the Minister of Investments of Saudi Arabia, Khalid Al-Falih, a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the field of promoting direct investments was signed.
The signed memorandum is an important preparatory step towards concluding an intergovernmental agreement on mutual protection of investments between the Kyrgyz Republic and Saudi Arabia.
Under this memorandum, the Kyrgyz Republic and Saudi Arabia will cooperate in promoting the investment and export potential of both countries, preferences, as well as mutual exchange of information about companies currently operating in our countries.
