Kyrgyzstan and China Strengthen Business Relations: Memorandums Signed for $150 Million

The Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, B.E. Torobaev, held a business meeting with representatives of the business circles of the People's Republic of China in Beijing, organized by the National Agency with the support of the Association of Foreign Enterprises of China. The event discussed the prospects for business cooperation, issues of export promotion, regional integration, and economic development. Participants of the panel session included more than 10 representatives of government agencies from Kyrgyzstan and 80 companies from China across various sectors. As a result of the meeting, Memorandums of Understanding were signed for a total amount of over $150 million between: - The National Agency under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Association for the Development of Foreign Enterprises of China; - The National Agency under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Association of Construction Materials of Guangdong Province; - The Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic and Shandong Electric Technologies; - The Water Resources Service of the Kyrgyz Republic and China Power International Company; - Kyrgyz Geological Enterprise and Shinjii Shanghai.
