Kyrgyz-Japanese Business Forum: Prospects for Mutual Cooperation and Investment Climate in Kyrgyzstan

Today, September 15, 2023, a presentation on the investment climate and prospects for mutual cooperation was held at the Kyrgyz-Japanese Business Forum, conducted by the head of the Investment Attraction and Partner Development Department of the National Agency, Tolkunai Talaibekova. The event took place with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Embassy of Japan in the Kyrgyz Republic as part of the visit of the economic delegation from Niigata Prefecture. In her speech, T. Talaibekova noted that Japan is one of Kyrgyzstan's main partners, and the republic is ready to adopt the experience of economic development from the Land of the Rising Sun. She also spoke about the main advantages of investing in the Kyrgyz Republic and the work of the National Agency, which conducts a unified investment policy in the country. The head of the Niigata Prefecture delegation, Mr. Kiyama Kou, also welcomed the forum participants and discussed areas of interest for cooperation with the Kyrgyz Republic, including IT.
