The Kyrgyz-Turkmen Economic Forum took place in Ashgabat on June 27, 2021, at the building of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, with the participation of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, S.N. Japarov.
In his speech, the Head of State emphasized the need to give a new impetus to the development of cooperation, focusing on expanding trade and economic interaction.
Japarov S.N. expressed interest in exchanging experiences and attracting Turkmen enterprises operating in the petrochemical, gas industry, and electric power sectors to the Kyrgyz market. In addition, he highlighted the further development of the tourism potential of the two countries, as well as cooperation in the processing industry, agriculture, and infrastructure.
