The Director of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, R.A. Sabirov, and the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, A.K. Aaliev, participated in the Central Asian Investment Forum. On March 24, 2022, the Tashkent International Investment Forum was opened. This platform serves for discussing and implementing strategic initiatives, as well as demonstrating investment opportunities in Central Asia to the international business community. Within the framework of this international economic event, various sessions and meetings were held dedicated to discussing the economic and investment prospects of Central Asia, mechanisms for attracting investments, as well as determining priority areas for the country's economic development, measures to combat the consequences of the pandemic and poverty, support for entrepreneurship, and the development of the banking sector. More than 2,000 participants attended the forum, including major investors and high-ranking guests from 56 countries around the world. Various topics were discussed at the event — from green energy to innovative production, from agriculture to the digitalization of sectors of the economy. Following the plenary session, an introductory meeting took place between the Director of the NAIP of the Kyrgyz Republic, R.A. Sabirov, and the Minister of Investment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Khalid Al-Falih, where cooperation in the field of investments was discussed. In addition, the Director of the NAIP of the Kyrgyz Republic participated in a round table on 'Transformation of Trade Flows in Central Asia.'
