On January 26, 2023, a meeting took place in Ipohofen between the Director of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, U.T. Temiraliev, and the authorized representative for the CIS of the globally renowned company "Knauf", Mr. Alexander Blümhardt.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the prospects for cooperation in the implementation of joint investment projects.
During the meeting, U. Temiraliev informed about the priority areas of the Kyrgyz Republic and the reforms being carried out in the field of investment policy, aimed at improving the work of producers and investors, and proposed to activate activities with the Kyrgyz Republic by launching the "Knauf" factory construction project.
"Knauf" is also one of the members of the Kyrgyz-German Business Council established in 2022.
In this regard, Mr. Blümhardt expressed the opinion that the establishment of the Business Council is a timely step that will contribute to further activation of trade and economic cooperation.
