Opening of U Nexus Hub Innovation Center at the International University of the Kyrgyz Republic

On October 22, 2025, the U Nexus Hub Innovation Center was officially opened at the International University of the Kyrgyz Republic. The event was attended by Ravshanbek Sabirov, Director of the National Investment Agency under the President of the KR. The center's opening marked the first phase of a public-private partnership project aimed at modernizing the university through the establishment of an 'Innovative Academic Cluster.' Sabirov noted that U Nexus Hub will serve as a center for attracting talented students, graduates, researchers, and entrepreneurs to develop new ideas, commercialize them, and integrate them into the country's economy. The center combines knowledge, science, and business under the 'University 4.0' concept. Attracted investments are aimed at modernizing infrastructure, digitizing the educational process, and enhancing teacher qualifications. Soon Chun Hyang University from South Korea is participating in the project. Initiatives include the establishment of a Global Mining University in accordance with a UN resolution and workshops on green energy and drone technologies.
