The 3rd International Conference on Public-Private Partnership is taking place in Bishkek on October 16-17.
The event is dedicated to discussing current issues and prospects for the development of PPP in Kyrgyzstan and the Central Asian region as a whole.
The First Deputy Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev, opening the event, emphasized that the PPP mechanism is recognized as one of the best tools for economic development through the interaction of the state and the private sector.
As reported by the director of the National Investment Agency Talantbek Imanov, the investment portfolio of the PPP Center currently includes 80 projects with a total investment amount of over $1 billion.
It is worth noting that the PPP conference is held as part of the 5th anniversary of the establishment of the PPP Center of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the panel sessions, participants discuss areas of cooperation such as digitalization and innovation, environmental sustainability, the role of PPP in addressing social issues, achieving sustainable development goals, and more.
