On June 22, 2023, a meeting took place between the Director of the National Agency Umbrial Temiraliyev and the economic delegation of the Federal Republic of Germany led by Mr. Udo Philipp - State Secretary of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action of Germany, as part of the official visit of the Federal President of Germany, Mr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier, from June 21 to 23, 2023, to the Kyrgyz Republic.
The meeting discussed a number of issues regarding the current bilateral economic and business cooperation, proposals for specific investment projects, as well as plans for the near and medium-term periods.
In his welcoming speech, Director of the National Agency Umbrial Temiraliyev presented relevant information regarding the reforms being carried out by the President and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic aimed at improving and stabilizing the investment climate of the country, including the development of the Investment Code of the KR and the law on venture investment.
