The Investment and Development Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic has attracted investments in the healthcare sector.

On December 27, 2021, an interim minister, N.M. Bayasov, met with the Chairman of the 'AFEI Holding' corporation. The parties discussed in detail the current status of investment projects in the provision of medical services. Furthermore, following the negotiations, the 'AFEI Holding' corporation expressed additional interest in opening a diagnostic center on the premises of the municipal hospital as part of a public-private partnership. The main service of the diagnostic center will be Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) services.
