8th Meeting of the World Investment Forum in Abu Dhabi: Kyrgyzstan Presented Its Investment Potential and Discussed Development Prospects with the UNCTAD Secretary-General

The 8th Meeting of the World Investment Forum of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) took place in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates). More than 6,000 investors from 160 countries participated in the event, including heads of state and government, ministers, leaders of world-renowned companies and stock exchanges, sovereign fund managers, and other representatives of the investment community. Representatives of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Public-Private Partnership Center of the Kyrgyz Republic also participated in the forum. The National Investment Agency presented the investment potential and climate of the Kyrgyz Republic. Participants were offered projects in the field of renewable energy sources and civil aviation. Additionally, representatives of the National Agency and the PPP Center held a series of meetings with international investment funds and companies ready to start investing in the Kyrgyz Republic. Following the negotiations with the National Investment Agency, a visit to Kyrgyzstan is expected.
