As part of the National Forum "Kyrgyzstan's Transition to Sustainable Energy: Barriers and Solutions", taking place in Bishkek, international companies and financial institutions presented their views on the prospects and opportunities for renewable energy development in the Kyrgyz Republic.
Reports and presentations on this topic were made by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund, the World Bank, the International Energy Charter, as well as international companies such as Masdar, AKSA Energy, Ecoener, ENSIA, and VENN Energy, which have successful experience in developing technologies in the field of renewable energy sources.
International organizations and companies shared their vision of the energy transition of the Kyrgyz Republic to cleaner and more relevant energy technologies. A total of more than 100 participants are involved in the forum, which is being held in a hybrid format, including heads of state bodies of the Kyrgyz Republic and international organizations.
