On September 10, the head of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Ravshanbek Sabirov, met with representatives of the 21st Century Biomedical Co., Ltd.

The parties discussed the implementation of a project to establish an industrial park for Traditional Chinese Medicine with the support of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Kyrgyzstan. The total cost of the project amounts to $1 billion, and its implementation consists of three phases, each estimated to take two years.

Within the industrial park, it is planned to establish a scientific research center for Traditional Chinese Medicine, launch facilities for processing and storing raw materials for pharmaceuticals, produce natural medicinal products, and develop diagnostic and health-promoting services.

"It is important for Kyrgyzstan to attract investments not only in traditional sectors but also in new areas related to science, technology, and production. We are ready to provide the necessary support to create conditions for the successful implementation of the project and the development of long-term cooperation,"

Ravshanbek Sabirov

Additionally, the project includes conducting scientific and academic exchanges and training local specialists. Once the industrial park begins full operations, annual tax payments of up to $480 million are expected.

The meeting was also attended by Jiang Lei, the senior vice president leading the company's international direction and investment projects abroad. As a result, the parties agreed to continue further work on the preparation and implementation of the project.
