Today, on September 10, the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and 'Textile Trans' LLC signed a memorandum of mutual understanding and cooperation for the establishment of the 'Sary-Tash' international transport and logistics center.

The project plans to attract investments of up to 100 million USD. The center will be established within the framework of the international transport route from China to Kyrgyzstan to Uzbekistan to Afghanistan, with future access to Pakistan.

The project includes the creation of modern infrastructure for the storage, consolidation, and transshipment of cargo, weighing, customs brokerage services, as well as digital monitoring.

For Kyrgyzstan, this is not just the establishment of a new logistics facility. We see a great opportunity to strengthen the country's role as an important transport and trade hub between China, Central, and South Asia. The 'Sary-Tash' project should contribute to the development of transit, trade, and production, as well as create new jobs.

Ravshanbek Sabirov, Head of the National Agency

The memorandum outlines the long-term cooperation between the parties in preparing and implementing projects in the field of transport and customs logistics and textile cluster development.

The implementation of the project aims to enhance Kyrgyzstan's transit potential and create new opportunities for business and international trade.
