The Deputy Head of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Meerimbek Koichumanov, is participating in the 26th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) taking place in Xiamen, China from September 8 to 11, 2026.
CIFIT is one of the major international platforms that brings together representatives from government agencies, the business community, and the investment sector. This year, over 1,200 state institutions and business delegations from 129 countries and regions, as well as representatives from 30 international organizations, are participating in the fair.
The exhibition section has organized 14 specialized zones, and the business program includes investment forums, thematic sessions, presentations, and roadshows for investment projects.
Within the framework of the business program, Meerimbek Koichumanov introduced the participants to the investment potential of the Kyrgyz Republic, promising directions for investment, and opportunities for implementing joint projects.
He also shared information about priority sectors that are of interest to foreign investors and opportunities for developing business cooperation.
The participation of the national agency in CIFIT-2026 is aimed at promoting Kyrgyzstan's investment opportunities to the international business community, expanding contacts with potential investors and foreign partners, and creating new opportunities for attracting capital and implementing joint projects.
