Kyrgyzstan Attracts Attention of Italian Companies at Business Forum in Rome

On October 3, 2024, as part of the official visit of the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov to the Italian Republic, a Kyrgyz-Italian business forum was held. During the event, investment opportunities in sectors of the Kyrgyz Republic such as agriculture, light industry, bottled water, banking, and energy were presented from the Kyrgyz side. From the Italian side, presentations were made by leading state organizations, such as the Italian Trade Agency, the Italian insurance and financial group "SACE", the National Institute for Economic Development of Italy "Cassa Depositi e Prestiti", the organization for the internationalization of Italian companies "SIMEST", and others. The national economy of Kyrgyzstan is currently developing at a steady pace. Major infrastructure and international projects are being implemented with the participation of foreign investors, including the construction of hydropower plants, roads, and the modernization of airports.
