The meeting was attended by representatives of the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), the U.S. Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic, the U.S. Agency for International Development Mission in the KR (USAID), the USAID Project for Entrepreneurship and Business Environment Development, the State Development Bank, the Eurasian Savings Bank, the Guarantee Fund, and the PPP Center under the NIA.
During the meeting, issues of potential cooperation and financing of projects in agriculture, healthcare, education, affordable housing, climate change, and the role of women in business management were discussed.
At the end of the meeting, Zhibek Abdullaeva noted the readiness to hold an event for businesses with DFC representatives for further financing of projects in hydropower, education, healthcare, etc.
It was also noted that currently all areas of the "green economy" are priority sectors for investment.
