Today, January 26, during the Kyrgyz-Uzbek business forum, as part of the state visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, a ceremony was held for the signing of bilateral agreements totaling about 168 million US dollars. The signed documents aim to increase the trade turnover between the two countries, including an agreement on the development of cooperation in the light industry, a separate 'Roadmap', a number of memoranda, and contracts. Among the largest of these are the following documents:
• 'Roadmap' for cooperation in the agro-industrial complex
• Memorandum of understanding and cooperation for the organization of the assembly of electricity metering devices in the Kyrgyz Republic
• Memorandum of cooperation for the production and processing of leather, as well as the organization of an agro-cluster for potato cultivation in the Naryn region,
• Agreement on cooperation for the establishment of textile production in the Jalal-Abad region,
• Memorandum of understanding and cooperation.
