The head of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Ravshanbek Sabirov, participated in a round table titled "Trade-Economic and Investment Cooperation between the Regions of Kyrgyzstan and Russia. Unveiling of Best Projects" held within the framework of the VIII Kyrgyz-Russian Economic Forum.
Representatives from the ministries of economic affairs, state agencies, regional authorities, development institutions, and the business community of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation attended the event.
Ravshanbek Sabirov noted in his speech that Russia is one of the key trade-economic and investment partners for Kyrgyzstan, stating that strengthening interregional cooperation would facilitate the implementation of new joint projects and attract investments.
He also emphasized that platforms such as the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, "Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum", the VIII Kyrgyz-Russian Economic Forum, and the XII Kyrgyz-Russian Interregional Conference play an important role in expanding cooperation between the two countries.
"Kyrgyzstan is consistently working to create favorable conditions for investors. We are improving the legal framework, introducing modern digital mechanisms for accompanying investment projects, and we are ready to provide comprehensive support at all stages of their implementation," said Ravshanbek Sabirov.
He also shared information about the country’s investment opportunities, legislative initiatives aimed at improving the investment climate, digitizing public services, and developing an innovative economy.
During the discussion, issues related to the development of industrial cooperation, improvement of transport-logistical infrastructure, digitization, agro-industrial complex, and the implementation of joint investment projects were addressed.
