The Deputy Head of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Damirbek Bikulov, met with the Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Khurram Teshabaev.
During the meeting, issues related to the preparation for the Kyrgyz-Uzbek Business Forum, which will take place in Bishkek on July 28, 2026, were discussed.
The parties reviewed organizational issues of the event, including the content of the business program, the composition of participants, the format of plenary sessions, and the conduct of meetings in B2B and B2G formats.
Attention was also given to ensuring interaction between state bodies and business representatives.
Furthermore, the preparation of documents to be signed within the framework of the forum was discussed, including memorandums aimed at expanding investment cooperation, strengthening industrial ties, and implementing joint projects, as well as other bilateral documents.
As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to coordinate further work on the preparation of the forum.
The event will serve as an important platform for showcasing the investment opportunities of both countries, establishing new business connections, and promoting joint projects.
