The head of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Ravshanbek Sabirov, met with representatives of the Turkish company 'TANFER' and Mehmet Tanfer, Vice President of the Turkish Boxing Federation and Chairman of the Board of Directors.
During the meeting, issues related to expanding investment cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Turkey, improving the investment climate in the country, and implementing joint projects in priority areas were discussed.
Ravshanbek Sabirov noted that creating favorable conditions for investors is one of the priority areas of state policy, and the National Investment Agency is ready to comprehensively support investment projects and provide all necessary assistance to investors.
Consistent efforts are being made to improve the investment climate in the Kyrgyz Republic, create favorable conditions for doing business, and attract foreign direct investment. We particularly emphasize supporting projects that contribute real value to the country's economy, introduce modern technologies, and create new jobs. We are interested in further expanding investment cooperation with the Republic of Turkey.

For their part, representatives of the Republic of Turkey presented an investment proposal for implementing the National Biosecurity Program in the Kyrgyz Republic.
The total cost of the project is $116.3 million, aimed at attracting foreign direct investment. It is planned to create up to 1,600 new jobs within its implementation. It was also noted that the costs for building the necessary infrastructure, equipment, and operation for the project will be fully financed by the investor's own funds.
During the meeting, the technical and organizational aspects of the project were discussed, and it was agreed to jointly consider the possibilities of its implementation with the participation of competent state bodies, as well as to deepen investment cooperation and jointly implement projects of mutual interest.
