The Deputy Head of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Meirimbek Koichumanov, met with the President of the Italian Trade Agency (ITA), Matteo Zoppas, and the President of the Federation of Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers of Italy (FederUnacoma), Mariateresa Maschio, who led the delegation.

Representatives from ITA, FederUnacoma, the Italian Embassy in Kazakhstan, and the Honorary Consulate in the Kyrgyz Republic also participated in the event.

The parties discussed Kyrgyzstan's investment potential, the priority directions of state investment policy, and the future of mutual cooperation. Special attention was paid to the production of agricultural machinery, the processing of agricultural products, the production of construction materials and furniture, as well as the medical, dentistry, and HoReCa sectors.

Additionally, the possibilities of placing Italian productions in Kyrgyzstan's free economic zones, as well as the opportunities of the Issyk-Kul region and the 'Tamchy' special financial-investment area were presented.

As a result, the parties agreed to continue cooperation to expand investment ties, promote joint initiatives, and organize events involving representatives of Italian businesses.
