Today, on June 10, a seminar titled "Investment Vector: Opportunities of Regions and Sustainable Development" was held in the city of Osh by the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
At the opening of the seminar, the head of the National Investment Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic, Ravshanbek Sabirov, the authorized representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in Osh region, Amankan Kenzhebaev, the mayor of Osh city, Janarbek Akayev, and the head of the secretariat of the Business Development and Investment Council under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, Uluk Kydyrbaev, spoke.
The event aimed to develop investment cooperation, support regional projects, expand interaction between government agencies and business representatives, and explain the state policy on attracting investments.
In his speech, Ravshanbek Sabirov noted that developing the investment potential of regions is one of the main priority areas of the National Agency.
Osh region is one of the areas with extensive economic, industrial, and logistical opportunities. Our goal is to promote investment projects through close cooperation with local businesses, create favorable conditions for investors, and contribute to the sustainable development of regions. Such meetings provide an opportunity to discuss problems on-site and develop effective mechanisms for their resolution.

During the seminar, information was provided about the investment climate, the "one-stop-shop" mechanism, the AIS "Investments" system, state support measures and guarantees for investors.
Issues related to the implementation of investment projects, consideration of investors' appeals, and the development of public-private partnership projects were also discussed.
The event was attended by representatives of state and local self-government bodies, the business community, sectoral institutions, and international partners.
As a result, proposals were made to develop investment infrastructure, strengthen cooperation between government agencies and business representatives, and attract investments to the region.
The National Investment Agency will continue its work to expand investment opportunities in all regions of the country and create favorable conditions for investors. Similar meetings and seminars will also be held in other regions.
