A meeting was held at the National Agency for Investments under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic with representatives of the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency.
The meeting was attended by Regional Director for CIS countries Hong Duyon, Director of the Almaty branch Kim Jung-hun, and Deputy Regional Director for CIS countries Ye Gwan-ho.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to the development of trade-economic and investment cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Korea, as well as the prospects for expanding interaction with Korean companies and investors.
Representatives of the national agency presented the investment potential of the Kyrgyz Republic, ongoing reforms to improve the investment climate, state support measures for investors, and priority areas for attracting investments, including public-private partnership projects.
In turn, representatives of the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency expressed their interest in strengthening cooperation with the Kyrgyz Republic, promoting the country's investment opportunities among the South Korean business community, and facilitating direct connections between entrepreneurs of the two countries.
As a result of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to implement joint initiatives aimed at expanding investment and trade-economic interaction between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Korea and to further develop cooperation.
