The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, with the assistance of the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Italy, the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, and with the support of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, organized a business meeting for Kyrgyz and Italian producers.
The head of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Umbrial Temiraliyev, welcomed the heads of companies from Italy representing the Barbadja district.
The Italian delegation was led by heads of companies in the agricultural sector, hydropower, and renewable energy.
Italian businessmen were interested in the export of dried fruits, honey products, and nuts from Kyrgyzstan. The guests also expressed great interest in exploring the potential of the energy sector of the Kyrgyz Republic and possible investment projects in hydropower. In addition, the Italian delegation expressed its intention to assist companies and entrepreneurs of the republic in training for production.
