On June 1, 2022, a bilateral meeting took place between the Director of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, R.A. Sabirov, and the Minister of Economy of the UAE, Abdallah bin Touk Al-Marri, at the state residence No. 1.
Director R.A. Sabirov noted the possibility of creating a Sovereign Fund with the Central Bank of the UAE, backed by a certain amount of Kyrgyz gold under state guarantee.
The UAE Minister of Economy, Abdallah bin Touk Al-Marri, expressed interest in the investment projects presented by the Kyrgyz side, which will be considered by the UAE Investment Council. Additionally, intentions were expressed to build trade and logistics centers, utilizing the experience of the global port operator in Dubai, particularly the company "DP World".
