On February 7, 2022, Acting Minister of Investments of the Kyrgyz Republic N.M. Bayasov met with the Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic States Organization for Economic and Investment Issues Omer Kozhaman and the Secretary General of the Business Chambers of Turkic-speaking Countries Adem Kula.
During the meeting, N.M. Bayasov emphasized the importance of investment and trade-economic cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Turkic world, as well as reiterated the proposal of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic S.N. Japarov to open the Investment Fund of Turkic States and to locate its headquarters in Bishkek.
For his part, the Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic States Organization Omer Kozhaman highlighted the position of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Turkic world and expressed readiness to assist in strengthening trade-economic ties with the fraternal Kyrgyz Republic and attracting investments, while also mentioning the main headquarters of the Investment Fund of Turkic States.
