On June 8, 2021, during a business trip to Ankara, Republic of Turkey, the Minister of Investments of the Kyrgyz Republic - A.N. Shykmatov met with the President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey Mr. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu at the office of the TOBB Economics and Technology University.
The purpose of the visit was to discuss the upcoming Kyrgyz-Turkish business forum, as well as the prospects for further cooperation on improving the performance indicators of business support institutions in Kyrgyzstan through reforms.
During the conversation, Mr. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu noted that the parties had done a good job for the fruitful conduct of the Kyrgyz-Turkish business forum and emphasized that at the moment there is great interest from the Turkish business side in participating in this event.
In addition, he assured that at the request of the Kyrgyz side, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey is ready to provide expert support for revising the operational model.
