Deputy Head of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Damirbek Bikulov met with the Chairman of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan Sahib Mamedov. The parties discussed the development of sanatorium-resort and health improvement infrastructure in Kyrgyzstan, as well as investment opportunities in this sector.
Sahib Mamedov highlighted the main directions of the Confederation's activities and shared his experience in managing modern sanatorium-resort complexes and organizing health improvement recreation in Azerbaijan. This experience is beneficial for Kyrgyzstan, which has significant natural resources for developing health tourism.
Kyrgyzstan's mineral and thermal springs, mountainous climate resorts, and the unique natural-recreational opportunities of Issyk-Kul create favorable conditions for implementing new projects in this sector. Developing modern infrastructure will enhance the country's tourist attractiveness, create additional opportunities for business, and contribute to the economic development of the regions.
As a result of the meeting, the parties expressed their interest in continuing experience exchange and expanding cooperation in sanatorium-resort services and health tourism.
