Currently, the project portfolio of the Public-Private Partnership Center under the National Agency for Investments of the Kyrgyz Republic shows steady growth, encompassing over 90 initiatives with a total investment volume exceeding 456 billion soms.
Among them, 67 projects are in the active implementation stage, while 23 projects are in the detailed preparation phase. Since the beginning of 2026, four agreements on public-private partnerships have been signed, with a total amount exceeding 1 billion soms.
From January to April 2026, several socially significant projects were implemented. The construction of a modern CITY Market in Bishkek has begun, and projects for the development of public sanitation facilities are underway.
In the regions, the signing of an agreement for the large-scale reconstruction of the "Berekete Bazaar" market, as well as the launch of a construction materials manufacturing plant in Orlovka, became one of the key events.
Particular attention is being paid to the development of strategic transport infrastructure. Specifically, a memorandum was signed for the construction of the Western Bypass Road in Bishkek, and the development of the project for the Makmal-Karakol railway, one of the largest infrastructure projects in the country, continues.
The position of the Kyrgyz Republic on the international stage is being strengthened. As a result of international assessments, the Kyrgyz Republic improved its indicators, rising from 68th to 22nd place.
Active work is being carried out to attract international investors and promote PPP mechanisms in the context of cooperation with the American All American Rail Group, as well as participation in the B5+1 forum, Istanbul PPP Week events, and activities of the UN Economic Commission for Europe.
Ensuring the country's energy independence remains one of the priority areas. Currently, projects in renewable energy sources and hydropower with a total capacity of up to 300 MW, including solar and wind power plants, as well as small hydropower plants, are being promoted.
At the same time, efforts to strengthen the human resource potential in the regions continue through training workshops in Osh, Talas, Naryn, and Chuy regions. This work contributes to the formation of a sustainable partnership system between the state and business and ensures the long-term socio-economic development of the Kyrgyz Republic.
